Day-by-Day Itinerary
Flight to Lukla (2,840m) & Trek to Phakding (2,610m)
The adventure begins with a thrilling flight to Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Lukla. From there, it's a gentle descent to the Dudh Koshi river and up to Phakding.
Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)
A steep climb awaits today. You'll cross the famous Hillary Suspension Bridge and get your first glimpse of Everest before entering the Sherpa capital.
Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar
Hike to the Everest View Hotel for panoramic views. Visit the Sherpa Culture Museum to learn about mountaineering history.
Trek to Tengboche (3,860m)
The trail offers stunning views of Ama Dablam. In the evening, witness the monks chanting prayers at Tengboche Monastery.
Trek to Dingboche (4,410m)
As you climb higher, the treeline disappears, replaced by alpine scrub and grazing yaks. Dingboche is a summer settlement for herders.
Acclimatization to Nangkartshang Peak (5,083m)
A challenging hike up the ridge behind Dingboche helps your body adjust to the thinning air. The views of Makalu are incredible.
Trek to Lobuche (4,910m)
Pass the Memorial Chortens dedicated to climbers who lost their lives on Everest. The landscape becomes stark and rugged.
Trek to Gorakshep (5,140m) & Everest Base Camp (5,364m)
The big day! Trek to Gorakshep for lunch, then push on to Base Camp. Stand on the Khumbu Glacier and celebrate your achievement.
Hike Kala Patthar (5,545m) & Descend to Pheriche
Wake up before dawn to climb Kala Patthar for the classic sunrise view over Everest. Then, begin the long descent to Pheriche.
Trek to Namche Bazaar
Retrace your steps down the valley. The oxygen gets richer, and your step gets lighter.
Trek to Lukla
The final day of hiking. Enjoy a celebratory meal with your team in Lukla.
Flight back to Kathmandu
Wave goodbye to the mountains and head back to the city.
